Lash extensions are not the same as strip lashes. They are semi-permanent, synthetic lashes that are glued to your natural lashes through the use of lash adhesive. They are placed on individually, either on each lash or every other lash, depending on the look you are after.
When applied correctly with the right weight and properly maintained lash extensions will not damage your natural lashes. During the initial consultation, I will assess your lashes to determine the best size and weight for your natural lashes.
Please come to your appointment with clean lashes. This includes removing any makeup around the eyes. Avoid using oil-based products 12 hours before your appointment to ensure the lash adhesive can bond correctly. Consuming caffeine before your appointment can also cause your eyes to twitch which can make application more difficult. Feel free to come in some comfy clothes so you can be as relaxed as possible.
Because extensions are attached to the lash itself, they last as long as the natural growth cycle, or about 6 weeks. After 2-3 weeks, you should have around 50% left and a refill is recommended to maintain your lash extensions.
Each appointment requires you to lay still for up to 2 hours. I can provide an extra cushion and bolster to support you and for extra comfort if you wish to lie on your side.

The difference in between the cosmetic and the dentist range is the strength of the active ingredient Hydrogen Peroxide (HP). Cosmetic whitening uses 6% HP which is the maximum legal strength for over-the-counter cosmetic teeth whitening products in Australia.
Dentists are not restricted on the concentration of HP in the teeth whitening products they use. Based on clients tooth sensitivity the dentist will determine which gel is the best fit for the client during the consultation.
You can expect excellent results with cosmetic teeth whitening treatment and a more of bleached look with the dentist range.
